Since 2006, the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at West China Hospital, Sichuan University, has made routine use of endoscopic technology. With the passage of time and technological advancements, the examination room has gradually evolved into a comprehensive, state-of-the-art, highly skilled, and outstanding specialized examination and treatment room.
检查室位于门诊二楼A2区，共拥有专职内镜医师和技师2名、护士1名，规范化培训医师和技师若干，确保了每一位病人都能得到最专业、最贴心的医疗体验。
The endoscopy room is located on the second floor of the outpatient department, Area A2, with two full-time endoscopists and technicians, as well as one nurse, and several trainees who have undergone standardized training, ensuring that every patient receives the most professional and caring medical experience.
检查室配备了高清的内镜摄像系统和图文工作站共两套，与医院HIS系统关联，使得医院的每一台联网计算机都能同步查阅耳内镜图文报告，大大提高了工作效率和患者的就医体验。鼻内镜室每年为数万患者提供诊疗服务，拥有六十多支不同规格的内镜，每支内镜都经过低温等离子灭菌消毒，确保了一人一镜、一镜一消的严格消毒制度，有效预防了交叉感染的发生，为患者的健康保驾护航。
The examination room is equipped with two high-definition endoscopic imaging systems and graphic workstations, which are linked to the hospital's HIS system, allowing every networked computer in the hospital to access the endoscopic graphic reports in real time. This greatly improves work efficiency and the patient's medical experience. The nasal endoscopy room provides medical services to tens of thousands of patients every year and has more than 60 different specifications of endoscopes. Each endoscope is sterilized by low-temperature plasma sterilization, ensuring a strict one-person-one-endoscope and one-endoscope-one-sterilization system, effectively preventing cross-infection and safeguarding the health of patients.
除了常规的鼻内窥镜检查，还承担各种鼻出血、下鼻甲等离子消融、咽部乳头状瘤、鼻前庭囊肿及乳头状瘤门诊手术；各类鼻窦炎、鼻息肉术后、鼻眼相关疾病术后、鼻颅底术后内镜下处理；同时也是慢性鼻窦炎伴/不伴鼻息肉、鼻腔鼻窦肿瘤慢性连续性管理中心。这些手术的开展为患者提供了更精确的诊断、更微创的治疗，更个体化的诊疗。
In addition to the routine endoscopic examination, it also undertakes various outpatient surgeries for nosebleed, electrocoagulation of inferior turbinate, papilloma of the pharynx, nasolabial cyst and papilloma, as well as endoscopic treatment of various nasal sinusitis, nasal polyps, postoperative complications of nasal and orbital related diseases, and postoperative complications of nasal and craniofacial base surgery. The establishment of these surgical centers provides patients with more precise diagnosis, more minimally invasive treatment, and more individualized treatment.
