在科室领导、临床医疗组长、慢病随访办公室、华西生物样本库、临床研究管理部、老年医学中心、信息中心、华西生物医学大数据中心、深底医学中心的大力支持下,我科建立了头颈肿瘤慢病随访队列、老年性聋社区队列、助听干预队列,同时参与了华西医院10万例自然人队列的建设。本研究室构建了我科专病样本库及WCENT专病数据库,在场地、硬件、软件、人力方面进行长远布局,为我科战略性学科建设内容之一。数据库已实现入组患者全周期随访数据及样本智能化管理,可进行多中心、多人、多端口数据连载集成分析,集高效智能化数据采集、智能化质量控制、标准化研究设计、规范化数据分析等功能于一体,为我科临床及基础科研奠定坚实的数据及样本基础。
With the support of the department leadership, clinical medical team leaders, the chronic disease follow-up office, the Sichuan University West China Hospital Biological Sample Bank, the clinical research management department, the Center for Geriatrics, the information center, the West China Biomedical Big Data Center, and the Shenbi Medical Center, our department has established a head and neck cancer chronic disease follow-up cohort, a community cohort for age-related hearing loss, and an intervention cohort for hearing aids. At the same time, our department has participated in the construction of the 100,000-case natural person cohort at West China Hospital. Our research center has built a special disease sample library and a WCENT special disease database, and has made long-term layouts in terms of venue, hardware, software, and manpower. It is one of the strategic academic construction content of our department. The database has realized the intelligent management of the entire cycle of follow-up data and samples for enrolled patients, and can conduct serial and integrated analysis of multi-center, multi-person, and multi-port data. It integrates efficient and intelligent data collection, intelligent quality control, standardized research design, and standardized data analysis functions into one, laying a solid data and sample foundation for our department's clinical and basic research.
The Sichuan University West China Hospital Million-Person Natural Population Cohort
拟纳入人群包括健康体检人群队列40万人、社区人群队列60万人(四川 50 万人包括宜宾15万、成都10万、营山10万、广安10万、绵竹5万;全国 10万人分布在重庆、西藏、青海、云南、贵州、福建、海南各地)、高原人群队列5万人(包括四川、西藏和青海等海拔高度 2500 米以上地区)
The target population includes a cohort of 400,000 health screening participants, a cohort of 600,000 community members (including 500,000 from Sichuan, with 150,000 from Yibin, 100,000 from Chengdu, 100,000 from Yingshan, 100,000 from Guang'an, and 50,000 from Mianzhu; and 100,000 distributed across various regions in China, including Chongqing, Tibet, Qinghai, Yunnan, Guizhou, Fujian, and Hainan), and a cohort of 50,000 highland population (including areas with an elevation of 2,500 meters or above in Sichuan, Tibet, and Qinghai).
该自然人群队列自2019年5月在龙泉启动,截至目前,已完成成都市龙泉驿区、郫都区、德阳绵竹市、甘孜藏族自治州康定市共4个项目点的基线调查、第二次随访及部分点位第三次随访。本团队作为专病队列加入以来,已纳入研究对象10000+人,包含多个民族,年龄均>20岁,在四川大学华西医院的详细健康资料基础上常规采集空腹静脉血,提取DNA用于测序获得基因信息。此外为受试者进行的专科检查,包括:纯音测听、耳声发射,及耳鼻喉相关问卷和量表收集。
The natural population cohort was launched in Longquan, Zhejiang in May 2019, and so far, baseline surveys, follow-up visits, and partial third follow-up visits have been completed at four project sites in Longquan District, Pidu District, Mianzhu City, Deyang, and Kangding City, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Since our team joined the special disease cohort, we have enrolled more than 10,000 research subjects, including people from multiple ethnic groups and aged over 20, who have had their blood drawn from their fasting veins and their DNA extracted for sequencing to obtain genetic information. In addition, we have conducted specialized examinations for the subjects, including pure tone audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, and questionnaires and scales related to otorhinolaryngology.

National Center for Geriatric Diseases Population-based Aging Cohort
国家老年疾病中心开展中国西部多民族老年衰弱自然人群队列构建。该队列来自中国西部12个地区,涉及18个不同的民族。本团队作为成员单位加入,联合采集临床数据并建立多种样本的标本库。已在成都市龙泉、华阳、郫都等地进行队列数据采集,进行听力问卷、纯音测听、耳声发射、听性脑干反射等相关听力测试。目前已采集2000余名参与者,并展开每年一次的随访。
The National Center for Geriatric Diseases is conducting a longitudinal cohort study of frail elderly populations in multi-ethnic populations in western China. The cohort comes from 12 regions in western China and involves 18 different ethnic groups. Our team has joined as a member unit to collect clinical data and establish a repository of various samples. Data collection has been conducted in Longquan, Huayang, Pidu and other areas in Chengdu. Hearing questionnaires, pure tone audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, and auditory brainstem response tests have been conducted as part of the hearing assessment. Over 2,000 participants have been recruited so far, and annual follow-ups are being conducted.
Hearing aid Cohort
开展华西医院老年性耳聋助听队列的建设,并进行每年一次的随访。对我院佩戴助听器的各型听障患者进行长期随访追踪,采集基线及各阶段随访数据,包括各阶段基线数据(广泛收集文化程度、婚姻状况、职业等人口统计学指标,以及吸烟、饮酒史等生活习惯指标等)、测听数据(纯音测听、言语分辨率、声导抗、耳声发射、听觉脑干诱发电位等)、各阶段认知评估数据(视空间与执行功能,命名,记忆力,注意力,语言,抽象,延迟回忆)、社会隔离评估、孤独状态评估、焦虑抑郁评估,并收集血液样本等。筛选出助听干预、未助听干预患者进行长期随访,阶段性评估认知表型差异,长期观察耳聋患者是否佩戴助听器对其生活质量等结局指标的影响;通过全基因组测序,以及结合自然队列基因数据,探究组间的基本特征差异。目前每年约招募500名听障患者。
Construct the HuaXi Hospital Aging-Related Hearing Loss Hearing Aid Cohort and conduct annual follow-ups. Long-term follow-up and tracking of hearing-impaired patients with various types of hearing loss who wear hearing aids at our hospital, collecting baseline and follow-up data at each stage, including population statistical indicators such as education level, marital status, occupation, and lifestyle indicators such as smoking and drinking history; audiometric data (pure tone audiometry, speech intelligibility, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, auditory brainstem response); cognitive assessment data at each stage (visual spatial and executive function, naming, memory, attention, language, abstraction, delayed recall); social isolation assessment; assessment of loneliness; assessment of anxiety and depression; and collection of blood samples, etc. Identify patients who have received hearing aid intervention and those who have not received hearing aid intervention for long-term follow-up, stage-by-stage evaluation of cognitive phenotypic differences, and long-term observation of the impact of wearing hearing aids on the quality of life and other outcome indicators of hearing-impaired patients; explore the basic characteristics differences between groups through whole-genome sequencing, and combine natural cohort genetic data. Currently, about 500 hearing-impaired patients are recruited annually.
Sichuan University West China Hospital Huaxi Allergy Center Allergic Disease Cohort
已纳入研究对象944名。通过调查问卷回顾性的获得所有患者的人口统计学指标(性别、年龄、民族、出生日期)、家庭情况(父母受教育程度、家庭年收入等)、生命早期因素暴露情况(围产期烟草暴露、婴儿出生方式、喂养方式、长期抗生素的使用、家庭人口数量、家养宠物及是否属于多胎等)及疾病特征(疾病种类、诊断时间与严重程度等)等数据。在患者常规抽取外周血液作血清特异性 IgE 检验时,额外预留一管外周血备芯片基因测序。全面地收集人群真实的暴露与结局的信息,探讨多种生命早期暴露因素与过敏性疾病发生之间的关系探索生命早期因素与过敏性疾病基因易感位点的交互作用。
A total of 944 subjects were included in the study. All patients' demographic data (sex, age, ethnicity, date of birth), family background (education level of parents, annual household income), life-span exposure to environmental factors (prenatal tobacco exposure, mode of delivery, feeding method, long-term use of antibiotics, family size, domestic pets, and whether the patient was a multiple birth), and disease characteristics (type of disease, time of diagnosis, and severity) were collected retrospectively through questionnaires. In addition, one tube of peripheral blood was reserved for gene sequencing when patients were routinely drawn for serum-specific IgE testing. The study aimed to collect real-world exposure and outcome data comprehensively, to explore the relationship between multiple life-span exposure factors and allergic diseases, and to investigate the interactive effects of life-span exposure factors and genetic susceptibility loci in allergic diseases.
Head and Neck Tumor Disease Cohort at Sichuan University West China Hospital
已纳入研究对象500余名。对我院就诊且明确诊断的患者进行长期随访追踪,采集基线及各阶段随访数据,包括各阶段基线数据(性别、年龄、民族、吸烟、饮酒、HPV状态等)、肿瘤复发/转移数据、治疗数据、影像学数据、肿瘤组织、淋巴结组织及血液样本等数据。根据肿瘤类别,分别进行血液及肿瘤组织的基因组测序(短读长、长读长测序)、转录组测序(bulk及单细胞测序)及免疫组库测序。全面地收集人群真实的暴露与结局的信息,探讨肿瘤免疫微环境的异质性以及肿瘤发生发展过程中的基因组进化模式。
Over 500 subjects have been enrolled in the study. We will conduct long-term follow-up and track the patients who have been diagnosed at our hospital, collecting baseline and follow-up data for each stage, including baseline data (gender, age, ethnicity, smoking, drinking, HPV status, etc.), recurrence/metastasis data, treatment data, imaging data, tumor tissue, lymph node tissue, and blood samples. Based on the type of tumor, we will perform genomic sequencing (short read and long read sequencing) and transcriptome sequencing (bulk and single-cell sequencing) on both blood and tumor tissue, as well as immune repertoire sequencing. We will collect real-world exposure and outcome information comprehensively to explore the heterogeneity of the tumor immune microenvironment and the genetic evolution patterns of tumor development and progression.

Since November 2023, we have been collecting samples at the Department of Otolaryngology, West China Hospital, Sichuan University, from inpatients who meet the inclusion criteria.
